JEE Exam Date and Timing 2020 – JEE Main Exam Shifts and Centres, Detailed Schedule

The National testing Agency(NTA) has released the Exam Schedule and the registration Process for JEE Main 2020. The examination will be held between 06.01.2020 (Monday) to 11.01.2020 (Saturday). The online application submission process has been started from September 3rd and it will get closed on September 30th 2019.

Quick Update: Online submission for Application form process has been started from Sep 3rd and the ending date will be September 30th.

Last day for Payment through E-challan or Debit/Credit card 03.09.2019 to 01.10.2019 (through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM Service up to 11.50 p.m.)
Correction Window Open date 11.10.2019 to 17.10.2019 (upto 11.50 p.m.)
Exam Date 06.01.2020-11.01.2020
Timing of Examination First Shift-9:30 A.M to 12:30 Pm
Seccond Shift-2:00 Pm to 5:30 Pm
Admit card 06.12.2019
Result Date 31-01-2020

 

This year we have changes in the pattern of the examination. Instead of Paper-1 and Paper-2 we have separate paper of exams held for B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning.

The Exam will be conducted twice in the next academic session.

Mode of Examination:

JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted in the following modes:

  1. a) B.E. /B. Tech. in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
  2. b) B. Arch: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
  3. c) B.Planning : Mathematics- Part I , Aptitude Test-Part II and Planning Based Questions Part III in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
