CTET December 2019 – Exam Pattern

The aspirants are advised to understand the Exam pattern to get the knowledge of question distribution, syllabus, Exam Schedule etc.

Find the below Exam Pattern details.

  • Exam Mode: The Examination shall be conducted as Online/CBT mode (Computer based Test).
  • Question Type: The question paper for CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Marking Scheme: For Each correct answer the candidate will get 1 mark and there will be no negative Marking.
  • Two Papers for CTET:

 Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.

Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

  • Time Duration: The Exam duration will be 2.5 Hours (150 Minutes) and the exam is conducted in 2 shifts. Below find the shift details.

Language:
The CTET 2019 exam will be conducted In English and Hindi Language.
Weightage: The Question paper will have 150 Objective type questions with equal weightage from the subjects Language, Mathematics, environmental studies, Child Development and Pedagogy.
